The West Wing Series 1-7, being this TV series based on the lives and daily work and interactions of the executive branch of the US Government (White House) is well rendered in its authenticity! Everything in there has a base in reality, every factoid, trivia, historical information, and procedure is genuine and based on reality. Most people just watch the West wing DVD collections for entertainment, but I do something else when I do: I "google" each and every bit of trivia mentioned during every episode and I keep learning a lot.
