Season seven of One Tree Hill, an American television series, premiered on September 14, 2009. This is the fourth season to air on the CW television network. Season seven regular cast members include James Lafferty, Bethany Joy Galeotti, Sophia Bush, Austin Nichols, Robert Buckley, Shantel VanSanten, Jana Kramer, Jackson Brundage, Lee Norris, Antwon Tanner, Lisa Goldstein and Paul Johansson. Season seven is set 14 months into the future, from the season six finale. Promotion for season seven were posters with returning cast members James Lafferty, Bethany Joy Galeotti and Sophia Bush with the new cast Austin Nichols, Robert Buckley, Shantel VanSanten and Jana Kramer making them official replacements for Chad Michael Murray and Hilarie Burton. Season seven of One Tree Hill returned on April 26, 2010 after the mid-season replacement, Life Unexpected, finished its first season. It was renewed for an 8th season on May 18th 2010 with a minimum order of 13 episodes.
