Everybody Hates Chris DVD is an American situation comedy inspired by the teenage experiences of comedian Chris Rock , while growing up in the Bedford-Stuyvesant neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York from 1982 to 1987. The title of the show parodies the CBS sitcom Everybody Loves Raymond. Rock stated "Everybody Loves Raymond but Everybody Hates Chris!".
