Camelot is an Irish/Canadian historical-fantasy-drama television show which was released on Apr 1, this year. It is co-produced by the Starz cable tv (blank) (blank) GK-TV which started manufacturing during the summer regarding 2010. The series, based on the Arthurian legend, is produced by Graham King, Morgan O'Sullivan as well as Michael Hirst. A special preview showing of the pilot episode "Homecoming" was broadcast on Starz Friday night, February 25, 2011.
Camelot DVD will use the well-known tales and legends about King Arthur, including Le Morte d'Arthur--"but those will only provide a starting point". The goal of the producers is to create episodes that "will weave historical authenticity into a telling of the Arthur legends that is relatable to contemporary audiences".
